What is menum.so?

menum.so is a digital QR menu platform specifically designed for Somali restaurants. It allows you to create beautiful, mobile-friendly menus, generate QR codes, and receive orders directly via WhatsApp.

How does the 7-day free trial work?

You get full access to all Professional tier features for 7 days. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial, you can choose to upgrade to a paid plan or downgrade to the free tier (coming soon).

Can I use my own domain name?

Custom domains are available on our Professional and Enterprise plans. You can link your menu to a domain like menu.yourrestaurant.com.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Hormuud (EVC Plus), and manual bank transfers for annual plans.

Can I change my plan later?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Prorated charges or credits will automatically be applied to your account.

Do I need a pos system?

No, you don't need a POS system to use menum.so. You can receive orders directly to your smartphone via WhatsApp or manage them through our Live Orders dashboard.

How long does setup take?

Initial account setup takes less than 5 minutes. Adding your menu items depends on the size of your menu, but most restaurants are entirely live within a few hours.
